Sports Medicine Physicians specialise in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical degree
- Specialist qualification in Sports Medicine
- Fellowship or subspecialist training in rehabilitation medicine, musculo -skeletal medicine
- Additional training in ultrasound-guided injections, rehabilitation, and injury prevention is often advantageous.
- Previous affiliation with sports, football or rugby clubs
- Active unrestricted medical licence
- Minimum experience levels (for some jobs)
