  • Modern slavery and human trafficking are violations of fundamental human rights and criminal activities which deprive people of liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.


  • They may take various forms, including slavery, bonded and forced labour, sex trafficking, child labour and domestic servitude.


  • It is the approach of Odyssey Enterprises Ltd trading as Odyssey Recruitment to comply with all laws and regulations relevant to our business in all countries where we operate.


  • All staff involved in the engagement of suppliers must communicate our zero-tolerance approach as part of due diligence.


  • Prior to approving a new supplier, we will review the controls which they undertake to eliminate modern slavery and human trafficking, particularly in regard to goods imported from outside the UK and EU which are potentially more at risk of involving slavery and human trafficking.


  • Odyssey may terminate our relationship with third parties engaged with us if they do not comply with this Policy. All staff must avoid any breaches of this policy.


  • The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains is the responsibility of all those working for us or under our control. Staff must avoid any activity that breaches this policy.


  • This Policy applies to Odyssey Enterprises Ltd and to all members of staff, employees, agents, consultants, agency workers and those parties in our supply chain, wherever in the world they operate.


  • Any reported breach of this Policy will be investigated and may lead to disciplinary action, or removal from the supply chain.


  • Responsibility for reporting incidents of slavery The detection and reporting of slavery is the responsibility of all of us. We should raise any concerns about any issue of suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain at the earliest possible stage to your line manager and the HR department.
