- Contract Dates: 1 February 2027 – 6 February 2028
- Classification: Hospital Medical Officer Year 3 (HM13) – Medical Officer Year 6 and thereafter (HM20)
- Salary: As per Victorian Medical Officers Award
- Hours: 76 hours per fortnight
- Other Requirements: Current influenza vaccination
This dedicated Critical Care HMO Program provides an ideal bridge between residency and specialist registrar training.
Designed for PGY3+ doctors, the program delivers comprehensive exposure to both Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, helping participants develop the clinical knowledge, procedural skills, and confidence required for future specialist training.
Clinical Rotations The 12-month program includes:
- Term 1: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Term 2: Emergency Medicine
- Term 3: Emergency Medicine
- Term 4: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Training & Professional Development
The program has been specifically developed as a pre-registrar year and includes:
