A fixed term fellowship commencing February 2026 for 12 months with possible extension to 24 months suitable for a physician who has just completed residency and seeks subspecialist training.
Scope of practice: advanced laparoscopy, urogynaecology, non tertiary gynaecological oncology
Position Highlights
- This position allows the candidate to develop their laparoscopic and hysteroscopic skills further as well as gain skills in outpatient hysteroscopy. The candidate can work towards the ATM in laparoscopy.

FRANZCOG or equivalent qualification
Eligible for vocational registration within the scope of obstetrics and gynaecology with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Remuneration Package
The remuneration packages defined by the SECA Collective Agreement
- basic salary for a 40 hour week and additional allowances for on Call Duty
- six weeks holiday per year
- 10 days study leave plus an allowance of 16,000 dollars per year
- relocation package covering cost of removal to New Zealand
- superannuation
