Canterbury

The Canterbury region, anchored by Christchurch, is framed by the Southern Alps and expansive plains. The climate is temperate with cold winters and warm summers. Ōtautahi Christchurch, is the second largest city in New Zealand - Aotearoa and the largest city in the South Island. It has the busiest emergency department in Australasia.

South Canterbury

The South Canterbury region is located in the central-eastern part of the South Island of New Zealand bordered by the Canterbury region to the north, Otago region to the south, and the Southern Alps to the west. West Coast

Stretching along the western side of the South Island in New Zealand, the West Coast It is situated between the Southern Alps, which lie to the east, and the rough, isolated beaches to the west.
