An excellent opportunity is available for experienced Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists to join a high-performing tertiary referral service. These positions offer the chance to work within a modern, multidisciplinary maternity and gynaecology unit delivering comprehensive care across both elective and acute settings.
You will contribute to a well-established service providing complex obstetric and gynaecological care, supported by strong academic links and a commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality specialist care in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, or combined practice
- Participate in an on-call roster ensuring continuous service provision
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff
- Actively contribute to teaching, training, and research activities
- Engage in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex obstetric and/or gynaecological cases
- Strong commitment to education, research, and continuous professional development
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Appointment within a major tertiary referral and teaching environment
