- work closely with general practitioners, allied health, and community services, enabling continuity of care and an integration of primary and secondary care
- use varied and broad generalist knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat patients in either a primary care and/or secondary care high acuity setting with opportunities to follow your patients admitted to the inpatient ward.
- level 3 rural hospital accredited for RHM training
- enjoy a broad scope of practice, supported by a culture of learning, innovation, and collegial support.
- provide teaching and mentoring, with regular placements of medical students and registrars.

Requirements
- Fellowship in Rural Medicine or Emergency Medicine or experience in these fields
- eligible for vocational or general registration with the MCNZ
- experience in rural medicine
