General Practitioner - Mixed Billing DPA Established Practice Queanbeyan NSW

A General medical practitioner is sought for an established busy mixed billing medical practice in New South Wales Australia in a town close to Canberra, the capital city of Australia.

The practice has been operating since September 2014 and has a patient base of 38,000 and growing.  It is situated in a prime high-traffic position within a DPA. It is a family type practice which reflects the intimate, country town feeling of the surrounding area.

The team of general practitioners can enjoy a rewarding environment with relaxed, rural patients,  well supported by innovative technology and dedicated staff.

The clinic uses the top clinical software – Best Practice, as well as one of the largest online health appointment booking services – HotDoc.
The practice is functionally maximized and features a fresh, modern entrance  located close to the outside.


Key Responsibilities:

• 40 hour working week, office hours patient consultations with booked and walk in patients
• overtime encouraged for evening and weekend clinics 
• no house calls or on call duties required

Remuneration and Contractual Benefits

• Fee for service with 70% split
• Minimum guarantee of $150p/h for the first 3 months
• Potential earnings in excess of AUD 400K 
• Relocation package AED 20,000 
• Minimum contract term 2 years
• Visa sponsorship

Requirements

• medical degree and board certification in general practice / family medicine (MRCGP, FRACGP, American Board of Family Medicine and equivalents)
• Eligible for AHPRA registration (general or specialist)
