Position Overview
Seeking a qualified general practitioner for a fee for service position in a state-
of-the-art healthcare facility dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care with a commitment to personalised, prevention-focused medicine.
Serving a diverse community 28km south of Melbourne, the practice provides a warm, welcoming environment where both patients and staff thrive.
The clinic is modern and well equipped with 7 consultation rooms, staffed by several full time physicians, allied health professionals and nurses supported by administrative staff and practice manager.
It is in the DPA hence open to applications from international physicians eligible for professional specialist registration with the Australian Medical Board.
Key Responsibilities
- work a basic 40 hour working week managing office hours patient consultations with booked and walk in patients
- assess and manage patients, ordering appropriate investigations and secondary referrals if relevant
- you are encouraged to run out of hours evening and weekend clinics
- no house calls or on call duties required
Remuneration and Contractual Benefits Offered:
- Fee for service with 70% split
- Minimum guarantee of $150p/h for the first 3 months
- Potential earnings in excess of AUD 400K
- Relocation package AED 20,000
- Minimum contract term 2 years
- Visa sponsorship for physician and family members.
Requirements
To be successful in your application for this opportunity as the General Practitioner, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- medical degree and board certification in general practice / family medicine (MRCGP, FRACGP, CCFPC, American Board of Family Medicine and equivalents)
- Eligible for AHPRA registration in the specialist capacity.
