- Position: Emergency Physician
- Location: Regional Victoria, Australia
- Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
- Classification: Specialist Year 1 – Specialist Year 9
- Salary: AUD $195.34 – $268.60 per hour (excluding superannuation)
- Hours: 76 hours per fortnight
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the Emergency Department, supporting the Director of Emergency Medicine in the delivery of high-quality patient care, supervision of junior medical staff, and service development initiatives. The role also includes participation in education, quality improvement, and regional outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency medical care
- Supervise and support emergency department staff and trainees
- Assist with departmental leadership and patient flow management
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and education programs
- Support evidence-based practice and service development initiatives
- Contribute to regional emergency medicine outreach and teaching activities
- Work collaboratively across inpatient and multidisciplinary teams
