- a full time, permanent position in Elder Health
- scope of practice encompasses inpatient acute frailty service, the OPAL (Older People's Acute Assessment & Liaison) Unit
- play a key role in providing comprehensive geriatric care in an outpatient setting and via community based transdisciplinary teams.
- 40 hour working week, no on call but opportunities to join the general medical on call rota
- play an active role in clinical quality initiatives, service development and supervision of resident medical officers (junior doctors) and medical students.

- FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification in general medicine
- subspecialist training in geriatric medicine
- eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Competitive remuneration package based upon level of experience and qualifications comprising basic salary and allowances NZD 200,000 - 350,000 PA
- Refund of medical practice expenses
- Superannuation 6%
