Job Overview
Seeking a consultant gastroenterologist for a general hospital practice, secondary care, in  a region with an excellent lifestyle, from scenic hiking spots to great schools. 

Position Highlights
  • Full time flexible permanent employment contract with a leading public sector healthcare organisation
  • 40 hour working week 
  • Excellent remuneration package with visa sponsorship, relocation package and study leave allowance and additional benefits
  • provide quality outpatient gastroscopy and colonoscopy, ERCP, liver elastography, outpatient clinical care, inpatient gastroenterology care and bowel cancer screening services.
  • affiliated to the University of Otago, has a training gastroenterology registrar and a research relationship with Massey University.  This environment provides excellent opportunity for both teaching and research.
Professional Requirements
  • Medical Degree recognised by WHO 
  • FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification
  • Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration
