Seeking a consultant gastroenterologist for a general hospital practice, secondary care, in a region with an excellent lifestyle, from scenic hiking spots to great schools.
Position Highlights
- Full time flexible permanent employment contract with a leading public sector healthcare organisation
- 40 hour working week

- provide quality outpatient gastroscopy and colonoscopy, ERCP, liver elastography, outpatient clinical care, inpatient gastroenterology care and bowel cancer screening services.
- affiliated to the University of Otago, has a training gastroenterology registrar and a research relationship with Massey University. This environment provides excellent opportunity for both teaching and research.
- Medical Degree recognised by WHO
- FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration
- Salary ASMS scale for 40 hour week plus allowances
- 6 weeks annual leave
