An opportunity is available for an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in cardiac imaging to join a leading regional health service in an ongoing, part-time appointment.
This fractional role combines diagnostic cardiology with outpatient consultations, offering the opportunity to contribute specialist expertise within a modern hospital environment.
Position details
- Location: Bendigo, Victoria, Australia
- Employment: Ongoing, part-time
- Hours: 7 hours per fortnight
- Salary: AUD $160.20–$208.45 per hour, excluding superannuation
- Classification: Specialist Year 1–Year 9, HN16–HN56
- Conducting outpatient cardiology clinics as rostered.
- Performing and interpreting stress echocardiography.
- Reporting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE).
- Supporting the assessment and management of patients requiring specialist cardiac imaging and cardiology advice.
This appointment is suited to an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in diagnostic cardiology and echocardiography, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary service.
Evidence of a full immunisation record will be required during onboarding, including compliance with the 2026 influenza vaccination requirement.
