Job Overview
A registrar in orthopaedics is sought for a full time job in a leading public sector healthcare organisation. Although not accredited for training, the job is suitable for surgeons preparing for the SET program and offers excellent clinical training and supervision.

Position Highlights: 
  • Full time permanent employment contract 
  • NON SET job which provides excellent clinical skills training for candidates aiming to apply for SET accredited training
  • Exposure to a wide range of clinical conditions and surgical procedures

Professional Requirements
  • Medical Degree recognised by WHO 
  • Experience PGY2+ minimum
  • Previous surgical experience preferred (not necessarily orthopaedics)
  • Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for general or provisional general registration
