Position Highlights:
- Full time appointment, 40 hours per week plus on call duties
- NON training job which provides excellent clinical skills training for candidates aiming to apply for accredited training
- Medical department consists of ten Physicians in General Medicine with a wide variety of sub-speciality interests, as well as an outpatient cardiology team, specialist nurses, and visiting sub-specialists.
- Accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) for Basic and Advanced Trainees.
- 110-bed acute care hospital that serves a wide geographical area extending up the East Cape of New Zealand, creating enormous scope and variety in the clinical work.

- Medical Degree recognised by WHO
- Experience PGY3+ minimum
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for general or provisional general registration
