Seeking a locum GP anaesthetist for a busy regional health campus in the Australian Outback. The campus is one of the largest in Western Australia with over 120 beds and  manages in patients and outpatients. It has a 24-hour emergency department.

Position Highlights
  • pay rate of AUD 2300 2600  per day, DOE 
  • shift 07:30 – 18:00 – some on-call maybe required
  • travel and accommodation are provided or expenses reimbursed

  • WACHS is the largest health system in Australia. It is also one of the biggest in the world. WACHS provides health services to 531,000 people. This includes more than 57,000 Aboriginal people. The system covers an area of over 2.5 million square kilometers.
  • WACHS is a network of health facilities across 7 regions including regional hospitals, district hospitals, nursing posts and community health centres. 
Requirements
All candidates must be able to provide the following:
  1. A current Working with Children Card (can be obtained locally)
  2. Current Criminal Record Screening Clearance (within 12 months)
  3. Medical Indemnity Insurance details
  4. FRACGP / FCRRM or equivalent qualification
  5. Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA)
  6. Expertise in paediatric and obstetric anaesthesia
  7. AHPRA specialist registration 
  8. Right to work in Australia
