Seeking a Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialist skills in upper GI tract surgery for a fixed term full time appointment with one of New Zealand's largest tertiary hospitals in Auckland.

- work in a major tertiary teaching hospital affiliated to University of Auckland School of Medicine serving a diverse population of over 500000 in South and East Auckland.
- teach and supervise medical students and resident medical officers
Professional requirements:
- FRACS or equivalent qualification in general surgery
- subspecialist training in Upper GI surgery
- eligible for applicational registration with the medical council of New Zealand in the scope of general surgery or locum tenants registration valid for 12 months
Financial Compensation
- a salary paid in accordance with the SECA collective agreement
- additional allowances for on call duties

- 10 days study leave with allowances
