The hospital is a 260 bed secondary general facility with full range of medical and surgical services including 24/7 emergency department. It supports three small satellite hospitals across the Northland region of the North Island of New Zealand.
Position Highlights:
- full time, permanent employment contract
- 40 hour week plus on call duties
- Psychiatric service is inclusive of Opioid Substance Treatment, Alcohol and Other Drugs and Te Ara Oranga which is a multi-agency programme which involves a high level of cooperation between police NGO and health services, tackling methamphetamine addiction in this district.
