An attractive opportunity for a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with interest in upper limb surgery and deformity correction surgery to join a large orthopaedic department in a secondary care hospital in one of New Zealand's premier areas.

- 40 hour working week plus on call duties
- 125 bed hospital providing 24 hour elective and emergency medical and surgical services. The local tertiary referral centre is Auckland.
- Join a team of 16 surgeons, 4 SET trainees, 9 pre-SET registrars, and regular fellows, supported by a team of house officers.
- Department hosts medical students from the University of Auckland.

Requirements for this job
- Qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon with FRACS or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon
- Basic salary plus additional on call and out of hours allowances in accordance with SECA Collective Agreement
