Full time permanent employment contract with a leading public sector healthcare organisation for a consultant ENT surgeon with interests in any or all of the following:
  • otology
  • rhinology
  • paediatric ENT
Position Highlights
  • based with an established public sector healthcare provider, operates a 350 bed secondary care hospital providing medical and surgical services across the southern region of New Zealand.
  • ENT surgery department provides general ENT services to adults and children.
  • RACS accredited surgical department
  • an active education program and currently participates in fortnightly radiology and head and neck MDT meetings and monthly thyroid MDT and pathology meetings
  • 40 hour working week plus on call duties
  • Excellent remuneration package with visa sponsorship, relocation package and study leave allowance and additional benefits
  • Located in a region with an excellent lifestyle, from scenic hiking spots to great schools

Professional Requirements
  • Medical Degree and FRACS or equivalent specialist qualification in ENT Surgery
  • A broad generalist scope of ENT practice with procedural competency  
  • A subspecialist field of interest - one or more of paediatric ENT, rhinology or otology.
  • Eligibility for Medical Council of New Zealand registration under the vocational pathway in ENT Surgery.
