Position Highlights:
- full time, permanent employment contract
- 40 hour working week plus on call rota
- join a team of 30+ anaesthetists supported by resident medical officers
- hospital has 8 operating theatres, and a procedure room co-located in the operating theatre suite, as well as a 2-room endoscopy suite.
- provides the majority of the surgical services for Northland Region, including a wide range of surgical sub-specialties and all emergency surgery for the region.
- case-mix is varied and challenging, with a high volume of complex planned surgery as well as a busy trauma service.
