We are seeking an experienced consultant anaesthetist to join a team working in a rural secondary care setting in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. This is a permanent full time contract.

Key Duties:
- contribute to a full spectrum of anaesthesia service delivery including care for all age groups, acute and after-hours services, obstetric anaesthesia, and pain management.
- join an expanding department committed to delivering high-quality, equitable care for a diverse population of over 276,000 people
- participate in RMO training
- 40 hour week plus an equal share of the on-call roster
Requirements for this job
- FANZCA or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Specialist General Medicine Physician or eligibility for locum tenens registration
- Basic salary plus additional on call and out of hours allowances
- Study allowance NZD 16 K PA plus 10 days leave
- Superannuation
