Job Overview
Seeking a consultant general adult psychiatrist for a full time  community mental health team based job managing out patients in one of the South Island's most sought after locations. 

Position Highlights
  • 40 hour working week with no weekend or on call work
  • Join a supportive multidisciplinary team including: Medical Officers, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers, and employment specialists.
  • Bring your psychiatric skills and experience to a community mental health team managing adult patients in Blenheim
  • Experience in liaison psychiatry is advantageous
  • Supervise and participate in teaching of junior medical workforce

Professional Requirements
  • FRANZCP or equivalent specialist qualification
  • Eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand

Remuneration Package
  • Salary (ASMS scale depending upon experience)
  • superannuation at 6%
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • 12 days public holidays
  • 10 days study leave plus NZD16K pa for expenses
  • generous relocation package - be reimbursed a competitive relocation, accommodation, and car rental expenses
