An excellent opportunity is available for a Hospital Medical Officer (HMO) to join a highly regarded regional health service in Victoria, Australia. This role is ideally suited to junior doctors seeking broad-based clinical exposure within a structured and supportive training environment.

You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse case mix, while working alongside experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams committed to clinical excellence and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to inpatients and outpatients
  • Participate in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across a range of specialties
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
  • Engage in teaching, training, and continuous professional development
Clinical Exposure
This position offers rotation through key areas, including:
  • Emergency Medicine
You will develop core competencies across acute and subacute care, enhancing your clinical foundation for future specialty training.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)
To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Current General Registration with AHPRA (required at time of application)
  • Minimum of 2 years' postgraduate clinical experience
  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
