As a Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine, you will hold full clinical responsibility for patients under your care and act as the clinical team leader across multiple service streams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inpatient geriatric medicine and rehabilitation
- Provision of telehealth geriatric services to Geri-Connect patients
- GEM at Home services
- Outpatient clinics delivered in person and virtually
- Clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical officers, registrars and allied health staff
The Geriatric Medicine Team comprises geriatricians, rehabilitation and palliative care physicians, registrars and junior medical staff delivering holistic, high-quality care across the Loddon Mallee region.
