The Role
You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality Obstetrics and Gynaecology services across a broad and diverse patient population, while also supporting medical education and junior staff development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provision of comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynaecology care across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participation in on-call and rostered clinical services
- Supervision, mentoring, and training of junior medical staff
- Contribution to teaching, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary range:
- $132.64 - $182.38 per hour, or
- $160.20 - $221.19 per hour (dependent on experience and classification)
- Up to 76 hours per fortnight

You will be working within a large and diverse Clinical Operations Division, delivering services across acute, surgical, cancer, and women's health specialties.
The Women's and Children's services are supported by modern infrastructure and multidisciplinary collaboration, with:
- Approximately 1,700 births annually
- Extensive outpatient and specialist clinic services
- Strong integration with neonatal, paediatric, and critical care services
- Access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies
Requirements
- Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (or equivalent specialist qualification)
- Eligibility for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice
- Commitment to teaching, supervision, and clinical governance
