Position Title: Dentist Level 1-3 - Community Dental Services
Classification: DF1 - DG7
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $3,229.46 - $5,305.50 pro rata
Hours per fortnight: Up to 80 (including an ADO every 4 weeks if working 80 hours)
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time or Part Time
Dentists are responsible for the provision of a broad range of clinical duties within the scope of publicly funded dental services. This position will provide high quality, efficient and effective dental health care to patients and actively contribute to quality improvement activities relevant to Community Dental Services.
In addition to this the Level 3 Dentist possesses advanced skills to independently carry out a broad range of complex procedures and will provide clinical leadership, supervision and support of less experienced staff based within the Dental Service.
They will assist the Senior Dentists in facilitating, maintaining and developing the knowledge and expertise of clinical and auxiliary staff who provide dental services.

The hospital is a secondary level general hospital with clinical operations encompassing acute, allied health, cancer, dental and mental health services, a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services.
Professional Requirements
- Dentistry Degree (BDS)
 - Completed prevocational training with postgraduate general dental practice experience
 - Eligible for general AHPRA registration
