- Salary (excluding superannuation): $132.64 per hour
- Hours: 76 hours per fortnight

The department manages over 12,000 operative procedures annually and provides a comprehensive service including:
- Intraoperative anaesthesia across multiple specialties
- Pre-anaesthetic assessment and optimisation
- Acute pain management services
- Anaesthesia outside the operating theatre (e.g. procedural sedation)
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call and emergency service
- Teaching and supervision of anaesthetic trainees
- Supporting junior medical staff and medical students
- Contributing to departmental education and clinical governance activities
- Deliver high-quality, safe anaesthetic care across a broad casemix
- Participate in rostered, after-hours, and on-call services
- Supervise and support trainees and junior clinicians
- Engage in teaching, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
- Fellowship of a recognised anaesthesia college (e.g. FANZCA) or eligibility for fellowship
- Eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated experience across a wide range of anaesthetic practices
