An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Consultant Physician in General Medicine and/or Renal Medicine to join a leading regional health service in Victoria.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Medical Specialists to support service continuity in one of the following configurations:
- 0.5 FTE Renal Medicine, or
- 0.5 FTE General Medicine, or
- Combined 1.0 FTE appointment across Renal and General Medicine
Position Details
- Classification: HM33 – HM41 or HN16 – HN59 (Specialist Year 1 – Year 9)
- Salary (excluding superannuation):
- $132.64 – $182.38 per hour, or
- $160.20 – $221.19 per hour (classification dependent)
- Hours per fortnight: Up to 76
You will be a suitably experienced General Physician and/or Renal Physician, delivering high-quality specialist care across:
- Inpatient acute medical services
- Renal medicine services (including dialysis and chronic kidney disease management)
- Outpatient clinics
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration

Candidate Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent specialist qualification
- Eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Demonstrated expertise in General Medicine and/or Renal Medicine
