A training senior registrar role is available in Western Australia for physicians who are presently training in anaesthesia and registered with the RANZCA. The hospital is situated in a coastal city and has a small but busy operating department with the highest throughput per theatre of any public hospital in WA, offering high quality anaesthetic experience across a full range of district hospital specialties including obstetrics and paediatrics.
As the sole senior registrar working alongside 5 Consultants and 3 Junior Registrars there is ample opportunity to gain experience of teaching and scholar role activities as well as gaining good quality and quantity of anaesthetic volume of practice. To go along with this the successful applicant needs to be well motivated, organised and adaptable to working in a flexible role.
The role is accredited for 12 months of training towards the ANZCA training scheme.
- Applicants must be ANZCA registered trainees at a level of BTY2 or higher with at least 18 months anaesthetic experience including management of labour epidurals.
- Eligible for general registration with Australian Medical Board
- Fluent English IELTS 7.5 minimum.
