One of the New Zealand largest District Health Boards is seeking Senior Registrars with a minimum of two years’ experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join a dedicated team in Women’s Health at a major hospital in the North Island which provides secondary and tertiary level care to a population of almost 1 million. The department handles 5,500 deliveries annually.

The Women's Health Service consists of a seven bed delivery suite, two high dependency beds, an Assessment Unit, antenatal, postnatal and gynaecological inpatient wards, a dedicated outpatients service and modern theatres. The department provides excellent supervision, teaching and plenty of clinical and operating experience. 

Location: University city with access to urban and rural lifestyles, excellent private and public schooling, sports.

Role Requirements:

  • General Registration or eligibility for this with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Fluent English (non native speakers must pass IELTS)
