The job contracts are for 12 months based at a various regional regional general hospitals throughout New Zealand.
Role Responsibilities
- provide high quality medical care
- participate in ward rounds, clinics and operating theatre duties
- participate in on call rota - weekdays, evening/night and weekend
- Normal working hours at 07:30 – 17:00 hours, Monday to Friday.
- Evening hours 17:00 – 22:30 hours, Monday to Friday
- Weekend hours 08:00 – 22:30 (long day) and 08:00 – 17:00 (short day)
- Night duty hours 22:00 – 08:00
Requirements
- hold or be eligible for provisional general / general registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
- three referees, one should be current supervisor
- full covid vaccination status
