As the new Radiologist in this 260 bed hospital in the Wellington region, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative department with a strong focus on ongoing quality improvement and positive relationships with clinical colleagues. 

You will be providing consultant breast radiology services, on an advisory and diagnostic basis in all matters relating to radiological breast examinations, including determination of appropriate procedures, performing invasive diagnostic procedures, equipment evaluation, quality control, interpretation, advice and support to staff within Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services staff.

Requirements
  • Eligible to be Vocationally registered in Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
  • FRANZCR or equivalent qualification 
  • If applying from overseas, you must meet the New Zealand Immigration Service requirements
  • Relevant training and specialist experience
  • Be able to demonstrate collegial working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams
