We have Consultant Psychiatrists positions in Auckland, with roles in Adult General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Old Age Psychiatry available now. In addition, most subspeciality interests can be accommodated.
You will work in teaching hospitals and clinics affiliated with the University of Auckland Medical School The top ranked university in NZ and accredited for training by the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
You will provide clinical psychiatry services to in patients, out patients and community based patients, as appropriate and will participate in the education, supervision and mentoring of junior physicians training in psychiatry and general practice and medical students. You will have opportunities for research and development of administrative and leadership skills.

You must have a medical degree from WHO approved school and a completed residency in Psychiatry with a postgraduate qualification accepted by the Medical Council of New Zealand for Locum Tenens Registration or Vocational Registration.
You must also have English fluency and IELTS Academic score of 7.5 if a non- native English speaker.
