An interventional cardiologist is sought for a role with a French multinational company which operates healthcare facilities in Africa. The role is based in the company's Advanced Diagnostic Centre in Accra the capital city of Ghana in west Africa. The centre provides medical services focused on disease diagnosis and accepts patient referrals from physicians, hospitals and direct patient access. Its services include radiology, pathology, endoscopy, dentistry and interventional cardiology with a cath lab and 4 ICU beds.
The role is full time, with a working week Monday - Friday and a contract of 1-2 years duration. The cardiologist will assess and treat patients referred to the centre. The expected start date is October 1 2018.
An attractive remuneration package is on offer with a basic salary of $150,000 per anum and commission at 40% of revenues generated by patient consultations and performance of procedures. The package also includes business class travel, accommodation, company car with driver, international healthcare insurance and generous annual leave.

To be considered for this role you must have:
- medical degree from WHO approved medical school
- postgraduate training in cardiology and interventional cardiology with board certification/ specialist registration from a western country (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand etc)
- fluent English communication
- clean medical practice license in jurisdiction of current practice
