We are seeking House Officers (PGY2 and above) to work in a regional hospital in New Zealand in the fields of Assessment and Rehabilitation, Emergency Medicine, ENT, O&G, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Relief.

The hospital has 250+ beds with 24/7 Emergency Department and all major medical and surgical specialities. You will work alongside skilled and supportive senior medical staff and have the opportunity to learn and participate in the extensive CME programmes on offer. The hospital is accredited for postgraduate training in most specialities and is linked with the University of Auckland.

Radiology has the latest CT scanner, the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, and Emergency Medicine staff actively utilise ultrasound in their patient care, with 2 machines in the ED.

The successful applicant will be living in a beautiful part of New Zealand with warm summers, mild winters and lots of opportunities for outdoor activities on land and at sea just two hours' drive from Auckland, with regular flights to and from Auckland Airport.

Requirements:

•           Medical Degree from WHO approved medical school, completed Internship

•           License: General Registration or Eligibility for General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand

•           Language: fluent English (IELTS Academic Module 7.5 average for non native speakers)
