Immediate Start - House Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (PGY2 and upward

The hospital is situated in a very attractive area of New Zealand's North Island, with a temperate climate, year round out door lifestyle, beautiful gardens, natures and parks, excellent dining and cultural facilities and easy access to the major cities.
•The House officers are responsible to their Registrar and Consultant for the day to day clinical management of the team’s patients. After hours the RMO is responsible to the on call Consultant for all the patients in the secondary obstetric and gynaecology service.
•Attend Consultant ward rounds when performed within ordinary hours.
•Attendance at outpatient clinics as required by the Consultant.
•Elective theatre lists shall be scheduled and posted in theatre by midday the previous day or midday Friday in the case of Monday lists. House Officers shall participate in theatre sessions as required by the Consultant or diploma requirements.
Hours of Work and salary:
•The average weekly hours worked are between 60-64.9 per week.
•The salary band is Category B.
•Eligibility for general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
•Minimum experience one year PG
