The hospital services
This regional hospital provides secondary care services with three rural hospitals covering an area of 12,600 square kilometres and a population of 180,000.
The endoscopy facilities are being re-developed and will move to a dedicated suite within the next 12 months. You will help develop a sustainable service for bowel disease and introduce bowel screening.
We want candidates with a real enthusiasm for teaching who are team players committed to improving and developing services to meet the population need. You must be eligible to register with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
You will also possess FRACP or an equivalent qualification. Trainees within a few months of completing FRACP training are welcome to express an interest. ERCP experience is desirable, but not essential.
Language: fluent English (IELTS Academic Module 7.5 average for non native speakers)
