Locum Emergency Medicine physicians of registrar or senior registrar level are sought for a regional hospital Emergency department in Western Australia starting from December 31st for various dates throughout the next few months, locum and salaried shifts. The right to work in Australia and general registration with the AHPRA are required.
The Emergency Department sees approximately 40 000 patients per year. Situated in the picturesque south-west corner of Australia, the South West region is known for its extensive natural beauty and enviable climate. The South West boasts rugged coastlines, world-class surfing, caves and wineries. Perth is easily accessible by road, rail or air, meaning that travel is easy.
Duties will include the complete shift cycle (days, afternoons and night shifts) and the ability to manage all emergencies from neonates to geriatrics is essential. Consultant supervision is available on site from 08.00- 23.00 and from a 20 minute distance over night. Applicants must be able to supervise junior staff.
- AHPRA general registration or specialist registration as Emergency Physician
- FACEM or experience in Emergency Medicine
