Are you an experienced clinical psychologist looking for a part time role in Palmerston North? A community adult general mental health service has an opportunity for an enthusiastic clinical psychologist to work on the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) service delivering both individual and group therapy programmes.
The successful applicant will join a busy multi-disciplinary service providing a diverse range of clinical services for the local population. The work week (part time) is 24 hours between 8 am to 4.30 pm, days are yet to be confirmed.

You should have a background in healthcare, and registration as a clinical psychologist with the Psychologists Board of New Zealand plus experience in a clinical setting.
The role is based with the regional health board which has over 2500 employees working across a 350-bed general hospital and several regional clinics serving a population of 170,000. It is affiliated with Auckland and Otago medical schools.
Palmerston North is an university city, home of Massey University, and just 2 hours from capital city Wellington. It is a key transport hub the central North island ski slopes and close to the stunning wine growing regions of Hawk’s Bay and Wairarapa.
