UAE Medical License Updates | New Regulations Abolish 6 Month Probation Period

12th Oct 2015

Physicians practising in the UAE will be allowed to change employers immediately after they enter the UAE as the Ministry of Health in Abu Dhabi changes the regulations for licensure.

The Ministry has abolished the 6 month period for credentialing. The purpose of these changes is to permit easier entry of highly qualified physicians to the UAE as the country seeks to expand its private healthcare sector and its medical tourism  industry.
