Qatar: Hamad Medical Corporation Expansion

Qatar | Hamad Medical Corporation Expansion

2nd Apr 2015

Hamad Medical Corporation, the main public health care provider in Qatar has plans to expand substantially by 2030. Over the next 15 years, its masterplan is to consolidate all the various hospital sites into one integrated site, hugely increase beds and double the number of operating theatres from 40 to 80.

Locations outside Doha, the capital, will also be expanded with hospitals Al Khor and Al Wakrah set to increase bed numbers and new diagnostic centres and clinics opened.

This is excellent news for medical jobs and Qatar is a popular place to work.
