Oman’s biggest private hospital is set to open up to the residents of the country soon.
The Oman International Hospital is backed by Oman Brunei Investment Company together with Suhail Bahwan Group and Idealmed GHS.
The multi-disciplinary hospital will focus on treatment and care of women and children.
The hospital is built across 42,000 square metres, it has over 200 beds, 41 medical consultations rooms and 73 treatment rooms.
It also has five operating theatres, three delivery rooms, an emergency department, ICU and four laboratories.
Sheikha Amal Suhail Bahwan, Chairperson of Oman International Hospital said: “At Oman International Hospital, we are committed to extending world-class medical and health services to the people of Oman and setting a new standard in the sector.

Oman International Hospital will start networking with representatives from the Insurance Corporate and Government Sectors - with the aim to familiarise key players in the healthcare industry.
