Five Reasons to Move to Canada

Fraser Clarke

Making a decision on where your future lies can be a daunting prospect, with research often the key to deciding which location is right for you.

To try and make things easier we’ve compiled these little guides - each looking at reasons why your future could lie in a select number of locations we work with.

Article 7 - Five Reasons Why Your Future Lies in Canada

1 - Stable and secure long-term option

If you’re looking for a stable location for a long-term move then Canada could be the ideal place to call home.

Unlike many Gulf States, the country’s economy isn’t on the decline because of a drop in the oil price, whilst it isn’t developing at a potentially unsustainable rate either unlike some Far Eastern locations.

It’s stable and secure.

Canada is home to a G7 economy, regarded as the strongest and most stable in the world, and it is continuing to grow. As a country for a permanent relocation it looks an option that is difficult to top.

2 - Excellent education system

Many of the candidates we speak to about securing longer-term moves often highlight concerns over the education of their families, however this shouldn’t be a worry in Canada.

As well as a strong schooling system, the country is also home to some of the world’s leading higher education facilities.

3 - Visa options

Securing a visa to start a new life overseas can be a hugely complex and stressful process, however in Canada it’s unlikely to be much of an issue - especially for well qualified and experienced medical professionals.

Canada has high immigration targets and a range of sponsorship programs that can allow you to comfortably secure a long-term move to the country.

4 - Strong healthcare system

Canada spends around 10% of its total GDP on healthcare each year, and as a result the system is as strong as you would expect.

70% of healthcare in the country is funded by the Government, with free basic care available to all citizens and residents in the country - making it both high quality and fair.

5 - Citizenship options

If you are serious about a long-term move to Canada, and really see the future of you and your family being in the country then a range of citizenship options are available.

The Canadian Government are keen to attract people seeking a long term move, with applicants only having to live in the country for three years over a five year period to apply - and practice tests available in advance of the real thing.

If you’re looking for a long-term move to a location where you would be truly valued and welcomed then Canada would be ideal.
