Odyssey was founded in 2005 to supply expert medical talent to the growing international health care industry. The company occupies a highly specialised niche within the large and diverse medical recruitment sector, specialising in the international resourcing and recruitment of elite medical professionals.

Since 2005, Odyssey has developed a global network of diverse clients including large tertiary hospitals, multinational health care companies and small rural medical practices. Our large data base of physicians and specialised talent banks, allows us to fill positions for both generalist and highly specialised physicians.

Our History

Odyssey is a privately owned company which started trading in London, UK in 2005 with the goal of providing a swift and efficient recruitment service to international hospitals and health care organisations which had a demand for western trained physicians and surgeons. 

We aimed to stand out from the crowd, to have a leading market reputation and to be the company that clients and candidates trusted for our knowledge, expertise and reliability. In short, we do what we say we will and do it with both professionalism and personality.

Our consultants have an in depth knowledge of the niche markets in which they work gained by both research and personal visits and supplemented with detailed analysis. Their expert knowledge and experience sets Odyssey apart from its competitors.

Now over a decade later, Odyssey is an established, trusted brand with two UK offices. We offer our services to customers across Europe, North America, Asia and the rest of the world and continue to expand our international footprint.
