Job Description:
You'll share responsibility for the specialist anaesthetic assessment and care of patients at this South Island Hospital. Here, you'll apply your expert knowledge of modern techniques - from pre-operative assessment and operating theatre services to obstetric analgesia, Intensive Care and Emergency Department Resuscitation. You will also be involved in teaching Anaesthetic Registrars in the ANZCA accredited department.

An outstanding team player and capable leader, you'll have the energy to make a positive difference with both patients and colleagues alike. You must be degree qualified with a New Zealand recognised anaesthetics specialty. The following qualifications will also be relevant - FANZCA, FRCA or FFARCS plus higher training certificate, USA Board Certification, and FRCPO (C).
